Kim Suter

Kim Suter, Director of Professional Learning, Code in the Schools

Kim Suter comes to us from the world of fine art with a background in project management and customer service.  Kim specializes in coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines. She was the Traveling Exhibits Coordinator for ARTEX Fine Art Services where she managed multiple traveling exhibitions for major museums across the US.  Her clients included the Baltimore Museum of Art, Walters Art Gallery, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, as well as the Smithsonian Museums in Washington, DC.

Kim left the world of fine art transportation to become a gallery director, and to pursue her own passion for creating art.  After taking a break from the gallery world to raise her son, Kim sought to utilize her ability to manage elaborate projects for a company that would benefit her hometown community of Baltimore.  As the Professional Learning Project Manager at Code in the Schools and a Maryland Codes Program Manager, Kim works with a dedicated team to coordinate computer science professional learning workshops for teachers across Maryland, Washington, DC and Delaware.
